Denise Lynn Albanese of Hermitage passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, in her residence. She was 43.
Denise was born June 4, 1973, in Kittanning, Pa., a daughter of Richard and Linda Crawford Scott.
A lifelong area resident, she attended Mercer High School.
She was employed by Morocco Construction as a painter and previously had worked as a waitress at several local restaurants.
Denise was of the Baptist faith.
She enjoyed painting, gardening and shooting pool.
Denise loved her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
Surviving are: a son, Leslie T. Krauss and his fiance Brandi, Sharon; her parents, Richard and Linda Scott, Youngstown; a longtime boyfriend, Frank Zola, Sharon; a sister, Robin Wheaton, Hermitage; two brothers, Richard Scott Jr., Mercer; and Weylin Scott, Youngstown; two grandchildren, McKenzie and Sophia Krauss; along many other family members and friends.
Denise was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Nicole Marie Albanese; her maternal grandparents, Howard and Donna Crawford; her paternal grandparents, Clair and Elizabeth Scott; and an aunt, Bonnie Lou Waterson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday (10-20-16) in the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond Scott, co-pastor of Sheepfold Ministries, Sharon, officiating.
Interment: Mount Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
