Dolores F. Sincich, 2011 King Dr., Hermitage, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Friday (11-27-09) in her home. She was 85.
Mrs. Sincich was born April 19, 1924 in Sharon a daughter of the late Frank and Clara Knapp Wilds.
A lifelong area resident she attended St. Joseph Parochial Grade School and was a 1942 alumna of Sharon High School.
Dolores was a bookkeeper for 25 years for her daughter Margaret who owns the Art & Frame Gallery (formerly the Art Mart) in Hermitage. She was previously an office worker for the City of Sharon in the mayor's office for many years having worked for the late Mayor, Basil C. Scott.
A devout catholic with a strong faith in God, Dolores was an active member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, where she was the CCD Director and an instructor for many years. A homemaker and a wonderful mother, she enjoyed writing novels and was a former member of the Sharon Writer's Club.
Her husband of 63 years, Damir Joseph 'Miro' Sincich, whom she married May 1, 1946 in the former St. Joseph Church, Sharon, passed away July 11 of this year.
Surviving are: four children, Loretta Miller and her husband Randy, Moore, OK; Robert Sincich and his wife Connie, Brookfield, Ohio; Susan Dewar, Clio, MI; and Margaret Test and her husband Tom, Hermitage; seven grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mariellen Riddle, Washington, PA (formerly of Hermitage); Rita Steen, Ashtabula, Ohio; and Joan Yoest and her husband Donald, Sharon; and a sister-in-law, Frances Wilds, Sharon.
Besides her parents and husband, Dolores was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Wilds; and three brothers, infant Richard, and Paul and Robert Wilds.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Catholic Charities, 995 Linden St., Sharon, PA 16146. There are no calling hours.

Private Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday (11-30-09) in the St. Rose Cemetery Chapel, Hermitage, with Msgr. Edward J. Zeitler, senior associate of the Church of Notre Dame, as celebrant.
Interment: To follow in St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
