Delores M. Lindsey of Hermitage passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 31, 2016, in her home from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.  She was 78.

Mrs. Lindsey was born October 28, 1937, in Sharon, a daughter of Corwin George and Florence Edith Delgros Hoelzle.  She was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Hickory High School.  Prior to her marriage she worked at Isaly's in downtown Sharon.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, board games, word searches and spending time with her grandchildren.  She and her husband loved travelling to blue grass festivals and casinos.

Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Henry L. Lindsey, Jr., whom she married February 13, 1960 in the former Covenant United Presbyterian Church, Sharon; two daughters, Karen S. Lindsey, Mercer; and Lori A. Walter, Hermitage; one son, Jeffrey A. Lindsey and his wife, Nadine, San Antonio Texas; and three grandchildren, Kasey and Justin Walter and Kimberly Lindsey.  She is also survived by one aunt, Dorothy Creed, Masury.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Hoelzle.

Services: 12:30 p.m. Saturday ( 6-4-2016 ) in the funeral home with Rev. Aaron Lego, pastor, Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage, presiding.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
