Delores A. Kopan, Sharon, Pa., passed away peacefully of natural causes at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday (6-24-15) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 82. She was born in Sharon January 6, 1933 the daughter of James and Elizabeth Willvor Atterholt. She was a lifelong area resident and she attended Sharon High School. In her early years she worked for Packard Electric, Warren, Ohio. She retired as a cafeteria worker in 1993 from the Hermitage School District with 19 years of service. She also worked for several bowling Centers over the years. She enjoyed bowling and was a member and treasurer of a mixed league at Sunset Lanes in Farrell for several years. He husband Ernest W. Kopan whom she married May 16, 1959, passed away November 13, 1991. She is survived by her son James M. Kopan, Pittsburgh. She also leaves her extended family, Ronald and Carol Myers, Sharon, Ronald and Dorothy "Dottie" Myers and their children Hallie and Branden, Hermitage, and Charles and Becky Kowalski and their daughter Abbey, Sharon. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Jean McKee. Calling hours: 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday (6-26-16) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon. Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday (6-26-16) in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Searl, pastor of the South Pymatuning Community Church officiating. Internment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
