IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deidra C.
Duleba
August 19, 1956 – November 15, 2024
Deidra C. "DeDe" (White) Duleba, 68, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters and family Friday evening, November 15, 2024, in her home.
Deidra was born on August 19, 1956, in Sharon, the daughter of James "Pat" White and Sally Lou (Jewell) White. She attended the former Sacred Heart Parochial Grade School, Sharon. Later, she attended Hickory High School and graduated from Kennedy Catholic High School in 1974.
She earned her Registered Nursing license from the former Sharon Regional School of Nursing and Penn State Shenango campus. Deidra worked as an RN at many places, but it was her time with Sharon Regional Home Health and Hospice where she found her true calling.
Deidra was of the Catholic Faith.
Deidra was passionate in the way she lived her life. She advocated fiercely for the people and causes she believed in. She had a love for reading and music unlike any other, but it was her love for live music that really made her happy, attending countless concerts and Broadway shows. Deidra was a member of the Mercer County Senior Follies and a former member of the Shenango Valley Chorale.
She was at her happiest when spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her personality was infectious and she had a natural ability to light up any room. Her peaceful place was at the beach, especially in Hawaii, with her toes in the sand and a good book in her hand. A "Steel Magnolia," she faced adversity full of grace, dignity, and poise.
She is survived by her mother, Sally Lou White, Hermitage; four daughters, Carrie Anderson (Josh), Hermitage, Colleen Engelmore (Brian), Sharon, Erin Avnet (Shane), Mt. Olive, N.J., and Kylie Davis, Sharpsville; seven grandchildren, Ryleigh and Reagann Anderson, Natalie and Ethan Engelmore, Carter and Harrison Avnet and Siena Swarts; two sisters, Darla Bequeath (Ron), and Diane Brown (Scott), both of Hermitage; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Deidra was preceded in death by her father.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to The Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Charitable Cancer Foundation, PO Box 13805, Fairlawn, OH, 44334 or at stephencomunale.org
