Dawn C. McDevitt

Dawn C. McDevitt, 66, of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in her home.

Ms. McDevitt was born September 4, 1959, in Burbank, CA, a daughter of the late Donald and Ailene (Seniow) McDevitt. She was a 1977 graduate of New Castle High School.

Dawn worked as a cook for several years at numerous restaurants. She retired in 2025 after 20 plus years working at R&R Plastics, most recently as a forklift operator, New Castle.

Dawn was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish of New Castle - St. Mary's Church.

An avid reader, Dawn also had a true passion for cooking, especially some of her favorite things, which included pierogies and pizza.

Dawn is survived by a sister, Danielle McDevitt (Joshua Williams); and two brothers, Michael Devitt (Rosanna), and Shane McDevitt.

In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Willy" McDevitt and John McDevitt.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
