David William Frazier of 415 Harrison St. Sharon, PA passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 12:25 a.m. in Sharon Regional Health Systems. He was 66.
Mr. Frazier was born in Sharon, PA on April 5, 1943, a son of James and Hanna Montgomery Frazier.
He was a 1962 graduate of Farrell High School.
Mr. Frazier served in the United States Army.
David retired as a truck driver from PI&I Trucking. Previously he worked for 15 years as a truck driver for RSL Trucking.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 299 of Sharon, Sharon VFW Post 1338, American Carpatho-Russian Club of Sharon, and he was a member of the APA Pool League. Mr. Frazier enjoyed watching football and NASCAR.
He is survived by, his wife, Carolyn Christman Frazier, whom he married August 23, 2007. 2 daughters, Christina and her husband James Bell, and Katherine and her husband Charles Wagner both of Mercer, PA; a step-daughter, Mary and her husband Scott Patterson of Ashtabula, OH; a son, Kevin Johnston of Sharpsville, PA; 2 step-sons, Richard Cole of Elizabeth, WV, and Joseph and his wife Tracy Cole of Ashtabula, OH; a sister, Mary Hawkins of Indiana; a brother, Donald Frazier of Transfer, PA; 6 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild.
Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and George Frazier; a sister Marion Huston; a grandson, Jacob Bell.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
A funeral service will held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Johnnie Swann, pastor of Plymouth United Methodist Church in Ashtabula, OH.
