Darwin "Lee" Koebler, Jr., passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Koebler was born February 14, 1965, in Butler, PA, a son of Stella L. Dobritz.

Lee had a career as a diesel mechanic prior to sustaining a life-altering brain injury in an automobile accident in 1996. He never forgot his love for cars, mechanics, or most importantly – his music. Lee was the kindest soul and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He gave his friends, family, and loved ones many years of laughter and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his mother, Stella, of New Castle, Lee is survived by a son, Jonathan Lee Koebler; two sisters, Diana Lynn Gumpp, of New Castle, and Hope Marie Sowers (Mark), of Mercer, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Grace and Lewis Measel; and his stepfather, Thomas Dobritz.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
