On July 13, 2025, Darlene Aughenbaugh-Bracken passed away after a courageous battle with an illness. She was 61.

She dedicated her life to caring for her family with immeasurable care and love. Additionally, she was fully engaged with information, as her other dream in life would have been to be a librarian.

Darlene loved all animals, especially Siamese cats and elephants, and she loved spending time with her family and reading in the sun.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly; her sister, Colleen; her brother, John; her husband, Michael; and her three children, Sean, Christopher, and Sara.

Her strength has been built onto us, and into us, through her own character, and she will always remain with us.

Those sympathetic to Darlene and her family are encouraged to donate to homeopathic cancer organizations, your local library, or your local animal shelter in her memory.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service.
