Darell J. Tolci

Darell J. Tolci, 54, of West Middlesex, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 13, 2026.

Mr. Tolci was born June 15, 1972, in Farrell, a son of Virgil and Janet (Bryson) Tolci, and graduated from West Middlesex High School in 1991.

For many years, Darell worked as a forklift operator at Estes Trucking, West Middlesex.

He was a longtime member of Holy Cross Orthodox Church, Hermitage, where he served as an altar boy in his youth.

Darell was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who enjoyed spending time with family. He was a “Gentle Giant,” and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to put others’ needs before his own.

Darell is survived by a sister, Melissa Pusateri (Tony), of Ross Twp., PA; a brother, Derek Tolci, of Pittsburgh, PA; two nephews, Anthony and Nicholas Pusateri; and a niece, Kara Pusateri.

Darell was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State Street, Sharon.  

A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m., in the funeral home,  with Father Spyridon Ickes, officiating.  

Interment: St. John’s Orthodox Cemetery, Hermitage.
