Daniel F. Gearhart, 66, of Sharon, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, OH.

Daniel was born August 24, 1954, in Greenville, a son of the late William F. Gearhart and Rose (Perrine) Glassburn. He was a 1972 graduate of Hickory High School.

Dan worked much of his life in construction. He was previously employed by the former Valley Home and Medical, Sharon, and most recently was the maintenance director at Orange Village Apartments, Hermitage.

An avid outdoorman, Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and sitting around a fire. He was full of life and always trying to have fun and joke around.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jenetta Boles; two daughters, Charlene Gearhart, of Crofton, Maryland, and Amber Gearhart, of Sharon; a son, Curt Gearhart, of Sharpsville; his step-father, Dave Glassburn, of Ft. Myers, FL; a sister, Connie Feckanin and her husband Alan, of Ft. Myers; a brother, Don Gearhart and his wife Lisa, of South Pymatuning Twp.; and a granddaughter, Kaylee Gearhart, of Sharon.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gearhart.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday (10/09/2020) in Transfer Cemetery.

Interment: Transfer (PA) Cemetery.
