Daniel E. Fee, 75, of New Castle passed away Friday morning, August 3, 2018, in UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Mr. Fee was born April 22, 1943, a son of the late Edward D. and Elizabeth M. (Krueger) Fee. A lifelong area resident, Daniel graduated from New Castle High School in 1961.

He retired from Valley Freight Lines, where he worked as a truck driver for 18 years, and was previously employed in same capacity by E.D. Fee Transfer Co., both New Castle.

Dan was lifelong member of St. Mary Church, Mary Mother of Hope Parish, where he served as usher.

He was a fan of all Pittsburgh and Notre Dame sports teams, and also enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving are: two daughters, Christine (Nicholas) Passalinqua, Canton, OH, and Debra (Michael) Bittinger, Randallstown, MD; four sons, Edward (Elaine) Fee, Downingtown, PA; and Daniel (Jodi) Fee, William (Lynda) Fee, and Patrick (Michelle) Fee, all of New Castle; his former spouse, Linda D. Royle, Sharon, PA; three sisters, Merrilouise Pizzoli, W.V., Edyce Burkes, New Castle, and Elizabeth (Tom) Cole, Wexford, PA; a brother, David Fee, CA; and 10 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by six sisters, Marjorie and Vivian Jones, Geraldine Snyder, Carol Shaffer, Florence Johnston and Eileen "Cookie" Mangino; and two brothers, Richard and Donald Fee.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday (8-6-18) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday (8-7-18) in St. Mary Church, 124 N. Beaver St., with Rev. Frank Almade, pastor, as celebrant.
