Daniel A. Driscoll, Wintergreen Dr., Brookfield, Oh, passed away at 9:48 a.m. on Monday (11-28-11) in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Youngstown, Oh, following a brief illness. He was 63.
He was born on June 4, 1948 in Sharon the son of Daniel Francis and Eileen Franklin Driscoll. .
He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1966 and he attended Youngstown State University. .
After college, he worked in the lab at the former Sharon Transformer division of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He retired as a tool and die maker in 2001 from what is now known as Delphi Packard Electric Systems, Warren, Ohio, he had 30 years of service. .
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Sharon, and a former member of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, Masury. .
Dan enjoyed a good game of Euchre, playing pool with friends, walks in Buhl Park, attending Doo Wop concerts, and rooting for his beloved Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He also enjoyed vacationing aboard Carnival Cruise line cruises to tranquil destinations with his wife. .
His wife the former Linda Perfilio whom he married on June 5, 1971, survives at home. .
He is also survived by his mother Eileen Driscoll, New Port Richey, Fl, his daughter, Kara Lynn Wilson and her husband Steven, Warren, two sons, David Alan Driscoll and his wife Lisa, Masury, and Paul Daniel Driscoll, Brookfield. He is also survived by his four sisters, Diane Bayus and her husband Tom, Hermitage, Debbie Davis and her husband Gary, Brookfield, Denise Driscoll, Masury, and Patricia Driscoll, New Port Richey, Fl; two brothers, Gary Driscoll and his wife Nellie, Cortland, and Jim Driscoll and his wife Kim, Masury, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. .
He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister Mary Driscoll. .

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (12-2-11) in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, with Rev. Henry C. Andrae, pastor as the celebrant. A procession will leave the funeral home for the church at 10:30 a.m. Friday morning. .
