Obituary

Daniel Conyers, 51, of Houston, TX, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025.

Daniel was born on September 4, 1973, in Denver, CO, a son of Randall D. Conyers and Diane E. (Cicco) Nelson. He was a graduate of Sharon High School and attended Penn State University, Shenango Campus.

Dan was employed as a sales manager for Bergan Marine Systems, a marine engineering and technology company for the last 10 years in Houston, TX. Here, his career flourished as he steadily advanced within the company, becoming a key member of the team. Dan's expertise and leadership left an enduring impact on the company's success.

Daniel had a deep love for music that was evident throughout his life. Whether DJing, mixing, or creating his own tapes and sets, he was always involved in the music scene, constantly exploring and sharing his passion. His love for music wasn't just a personal joy—it was something he passed down to his daughter, crafting CDs of her favorite songs from a young age, leaving behind a lasting legacy of rhythm and melody that will always connect them.

Daniel was an incredibly athletic person, always embracing the outdoors with enthusiasm. He had a particular love for biking, often taking his children, Michael and Mia, on biking trails and sharing his passion for nature and adventure with them. His love for travel was also a defining part of his life. He cherished showing his children the world, creating unforgettable experiences that would shape their understanding of different places and cultures. One of his favorite destinations was New Orleans, where he loved to immerse himself in the vibrant culture and rich history through tours, food, and sight-seeing.

Daniel moved to Orlando, Florida in 1997, and here he developed a love for the sunshine and water. Many of the cherished memories he shared with his children were made during beach trips or at waterparks, where they enjoyed the water together. One of their favorite places to visit was at Wet'n'Wild Orlando, spending the day laughing, swimming, and sharing funnel cakes. His active lifestyle and dedication to creating meaningful experiences with his family will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Daniel and his daughter, Mia, shared an extraordinary bond, one rooted in deep understanding and love. The two spent as much time together as possible— always laughing, cooking together, and creating countless memories. Their road trips and travels were highlights of their relationship, filled with adventure and joy. They shared a love for food, exploring new cities and cuisines, and enjoyed introducing each other to new music. Through it all, Daniel was incredibly proud of her, and their time together will forever be cherished. Their connection was a true testament to the depth of their love for each other.

Daniel was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan, always making sure to watch every game, no matter what. His passion for the team never wavered, having spent part of his life in Cleveland, Ohio, he embraced the city's love for football and carried that loyalty with him wherever he went.

Dan will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a vibrant personality, a contagious laugh, and a great sense of humor that could light up any room. His intelligence, kindness, and selflessness were unmatched, always putting others before himself with a heart full of love and generosity. His strength was truly admirable, and anyone who knew him would say the same. He was surrounded by many friends who thought so highly of him, a testament to the incredible person he was. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched.
