Cynthia Lou Dickson, Brookfield, Ohio, passed away at her home unexpectedly Saturday May 14, 2011. She was 52.
Cynthia was born on May 16, 1958 in Riverside, California the daughter of Dave and Donna Jane Scott Thomas.
She had worked at Wheatland Tube Corporation for several years and she also was an independent truck driver.
Cynthia was a lover of animals who was known to adopt unwanted pets including ferrets that she loved most. She also loved to travel.
Her husband Alfred M. Dickson whom she married on July 16, 1981, survives at home.
She also leaves her son Erik A. Dickson and his wife Kathy of Greenville, and her sister Tonya Eichelberger and her husband Harry of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; and a granddaughter Ashley Dickson.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother Daniel Miller.
Calling hours: There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday (5-19-11) in the funeral home chapel with Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of I H S Gospel Ministries, Hermitage officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
