Cynthia J. (Dyll) Bland of Sharpsville passed away at 4:36 pm Tuesday (1-3-17) in Hillcrest Hospital –Cleveland Clinic Health System, Mayfield Heights, OH, following a brief illness. She was 55.
Cynthia was born March 23, 1961, a daughter of Alex A. and Ruth Pebly Dyll.
She was a 1979 graduate of Sharpsville High School. Following high school she relocated for a number of years to Las Angeles, CA, where she worked as a makeup artist.
Cynthia was proud to be employed by Chanel and have the opportunity to work with several celebrities.
She enjoyed traveling, but her heart will always belong to her favorite place, Lake Tahoe, NV. Cynthia will be sadly missed by her friends, cousins, and all who loved her.
Surviving are: her husband, Phillip Bland, Portland, OR; a beloved son, Spencer Bland, Pittsburgh; her mother, Ruth Dyll, for whom she was a caregiver and with whom she made her home in Sharpsville; a brother Bob Dyll and his wife LouAnn; a niece, Savannah Dyll; and a nephew, Alex Dyll; all Kinsman, OH.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Alex Dyll; and a sister, Nancy Dyll.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
