Crystal Lynn Watterson, 425 N. Oakland Ave., Sharon, passed away unexpectedly at 8:30 p.m. Thursday (11-21-13) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 36. Crystal was born Nov. 9, 1977, in Greenville, a daughter of Gregory Wayne Watterson and Luanne Forbes Watterson. She was 1996 graduate of Reynolds High School and attended Mercer County Vocational Technical School, where she studied computer science. Crystal enjoyed working and was employed for many years at Sheetz's in Reynolds. She also worked at Burger King, Mercer; Long John Silver, Hermitage; and in the housekeeping department at Comfort Inn, Mercer. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angel Noel Watterson, who died in infancy; and her grandparents, John Forbes; and Guy and Esther Watterson. Surviving are a daughter, Sierra Marie Porterfield, Sharon; a son, Cameron Taylor, Transfer; her mother, Luann Gottula and her husband John, Sharon; her father, Gregory W. Watterson, Arizona; her grandmother, Yvonne Forbes, Greenville; a sister, Brandy Watterson, Farrell; two brothers, Gregory Watterson, Sharon; and Travis Richards, Mercer; a granddaughter, A'Leah McWhorter; several loving nieces, nephews and cousins; and her faithful companion, Storm, a Shar-Pei dog.
