Corinne M. Schultz, Paul St., Farrell passed away after an extended illness at 9:17 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2012 in the hospital of the Sharon Regional Health System, surrounded by her family. She was 61.
Corinne was born June 10, 1950 in Sharon, a daughter of Samuel and Rosalie Scardina Pontera. She was a lifelong area resident and graduated in 1968 from what is now Kennedy Catholic High School, Hermitage. She attended Youngstown State University.
She was a homemaker and earlier in her life she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. John Fridley, Hermitage and Dr. David Hamilton, New Castle.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann's Church, Farrell. She was active with the Make A Wish Foundation, and enjoyed her pets and watching her favorite television programs.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Scott C. Schultz, whom she married June 24, 1972; a son, Scott C. Schultz, II, Hermitage; a brother, Frank Pontera and his wife Mary Jo, Sharpsville; a sister, Mary Ann Kollar and her husband Dr. James G. Kollar, Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Corinne was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, to whom family meant everything. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
