Constance "Connie" Staunch Morar, 98, of Hermitage, formerly of Sharpsville, passed away at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Nugent's CCRC.

Mrs. Morar was born December 13, 1919, in Farrell, a daughter of George and Louise (Notman) Staunch. She graduated from Farrell High School in 1937 and later graduated from the former Shenango Valley Commercial Institute, Sharon.

Connie was employed in the sales office as a stenographer/secretary at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. She also worked for many years at the former Allen's Children and Teen Shop, Sharon and retired in 1984 from Powell Systems Inc., Hubbard after fourteen years of service.

Connie was also an active member of the Holy Cross Orthodox Church, Hermitage and participated in many of the church activities.  She enjoyed bowling in the Monday and the Wednesday Nite Ladies League at the former Hickory Bowl, Hermitage.

Connie was the wife of the late, Granfield "Gran" Morar (deceased Aug. 7, 1979) whom she married on June 16, 1945.

She is survived by a niece, Lana Morar; four nephews, Ed (Carole) Staunch, Michael (Jody) Staunch, Dave Staunch and Jack (Mary Jo) Staunch; and godchildren.

In addition to her husband, Connie was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; two brothers, Delmar and Jack Staunch; a niece, Kim Staunch Moranville; and two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Louise Brown Staunch and Mary Radu Staunch.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holy Cross Orthodox Church, 950 Maple Dr. Hermitage, PA 16148 .

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12 noon Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Holy Cross Orthodox Church, Hermitage.

Funeral Divine Liturgy will be at noon Saturday in the church, with Archpriest George J. Treff, pastor, officiating.

Interment: America's Cemetery, Hermitage.
