Claude "PeeWee" M. Davis, 87, of Hillsville, passed away Saturday morning, August 23, 2025, in his home.

Mr. Davis was born November 22, 1937, in New Castle, a son of the late George and Florence (Clements) Davis. Claude honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He worked for many years at LTV, formerly Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Campbell, OH.

Claude attended Church of Genesis, New Castle.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #445, Cee Gee's, both of New Castle, and the Johnson Club, Hillsville.

Claude loved being outdoors, taking care of his property. In his younger days, he loved golfing and dancing.

His beloved wife of 62 years, the former Elizabeth (Betsy) Bryson, whom he married on July 27, 1963, survived at home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Claudine (Rob) Uhring, Vail, AZ, and Denise Davis, Bessemer; two brothers, George Davis, CA, and Dr. William Davis, RN. PhD., NY; and one grandson, Jarod Kumrow-Davis.

In addition to his parents, Claude was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Fontana, and Marlene Reid.

Calling hour will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday (8-29-25) in the Church of Genesis, 303 N Cedar St, New Castle, PA 16102

A memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the church.
