Cindy Lou Brown, 298 Malleable St., Sharon, passed away unexpectedly Sunday (6-6-10) at her residence. She was 67.

Mrs. Brown was born on September 3, 1943 in Atlantic, Pa (Crawford County) the daughter of the late Herman and Fern Calvin Britton.

She graduated from the former East Fallowfield High School, Atlantic, Pa.

Cindy retired from the Sharon School district after many years of service.

She enjoyed going to camp, gardening, and spending time with her family who will sadly miss her.

Her husband Frank L. Brown whom she married on June 21, 1978, passed away on May 29, 2008.

She leaves her son Doug Zuschlag and his wife Ruth, Sharon, her daughter Tammy Gearhart and her husband John, Greenville, her three step sons, Frankie Brown and his wife Anna, Franklin; Mike Brown and his wife Sherry, Greenville; Sam Brown, Sharon; a brother James Britton and his wife Kathy of Jamestown, 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Edward Britton, and her granddaughter Miah Brown.

Calling hours: Thursday (6-10-09) from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St .Sharon.
