Christine Elise (Mansfield) Vukovich, 1225 Dakota St., Farrell, went to be with her Lord and Savior and also to be reunited with her husband at 11:50 p.m. Sunday (10-31-10) at her home, surrounded by her family, after a brief illness with cancer. She was 52.

Mrs. Vukovich was born March 7, 1958 in Ellenville, NY a daughter of Richard and Doris Koewacich Mansfield.

She moved to the area as a young girl and attended Sharon schools.

Her husband, Gary Allen Vukovich, whom she married August 19, 1978, passed away September 18, 2008.

Surviving are: her children, Seth Mansfield and his wife Staci; and a daughter, Shauna Vukovich, all Farrell; three grandchildren, Nathan and Noah Mansfield; and Myrakle Matthews; two sisters, Linda Balach and her husband Greg, Tacoma, Washington; and Debra Myers and her husband Dale, Hermitage; two brothers, Richard Mansfield and his wife Darlene, Greenville; and Keith Mansfield and his wife Akie, Spanaway, Washington; a special sister-in-law who provided tremendous support, Maryann Stearns and her husband Jim, Farrell; several nieces and nephews; and her loving dog, Zeus.

Besides her parents and husband, Christine was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Syncere Matthews; and a pet dog, Sheba.

We will all love and miss her because she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt during her lifetime.
