Christine Incerto, 100, of Farrell, passed away Friday evening, August 23, 2024, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Mrs. Incerto was born on February 4, 1924, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Theodore and Ginny (Circelli) Yassall, and attended Sharon School District.

Prior to marriage, she worked at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., where she was the group leader of an all-women team that assembled transformers during World War II.

She married Ralph Incerto, in June of 1949. He passed away in 1989.

Christine was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, where she was in the Altar Rosary Society and volunteered every Thursday for several years.

A dedicated homemaker, she took great pride in cooking and traditional Italian Sunday dinners. Christine was a truly caring person and spent a lot of time caring for others.

She also enjoyed gambling and traveling. Some of her more memorable trips were to Italy, Switzerland and Hawaii.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Incerto, West Middlesex; three grandchildren, Tessa, Michael and Ryan Incerto; a sister, Lucy Muchuga, Port Orange, FL; and a brother, Anthony Yassall, Brookfield, OH.
In addition to her parents and husband, Christine was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Incerto; a brother, Dr. Herman Yassall; and an infant brother.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to either, Joshua's Haven, 1230 Stambaugh Ave., Farrell, PA 16121; or Our Lady of Fatima Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, PA 16121.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (08/28/2024) in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, with Rev. Glenn Whitman, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
