Chester "Bud" Taylor, 80, of Hermitage, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, in Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Mr. Taylor was born on May 11, 1943, in Hermitage, a son of the late Eugene and Helen (Fowler) Taylor.
Bud was employed at Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant. Additionally, he worked as a janitor at Sharpsville High School and was a cab driver for Phil's Taxi and the Watson's.
He took pride in playing high school football and was a fan of sports, especially the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed taking walks and mowing his grass.
He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Sonny, whom he married on August 17, 1972; two daughters, Betty Taylor, Sharon, and Janet Taylor Wilson, Brookfield, OH; a son, William Taylor and his girlfriend Stacy Davensizer, Hermitage; a stepson, Joey Arbuckle and his wife Tracy, Hermitage; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores "Honey" Thompson and Betty Hoovler; and two brothers, Kenneth and Grant Taylor.

Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
