Cheryl Booher, 72, of New Castle, passed away Sunday morning, September 14, 2025, in UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Mrs. Booher was born May 28, 1953, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Frank Vogan and Norma (Bovard) Church. She was a 1971 graduate of Union High School.
Cheryl was a member of Victory Family Church, New Castle.
She was employed at both Infocision and Client Satisfaction Team.
A loving and dedicated homemaker, Cheryl cherished the time spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed painting.
Cheryl is survived by three daughters, Danielle Patrick, Stacey (Wade) Wolf, both of New Castle, and Melissa (Jeremy) Yeager, Buffalo, WY; two sons, Raymond Tanner and Chad (Stephanie) Booher, both of New Castle; four brothers, Ronnie Bovard, Gary Vogan, William Church, and James Church; 11 grandchildren, Shane, Ashley, and Nicholas Patrick, Brennen, Christian, and Makenna Tanner, Michael Bobosky, Alexa, Caitlyn, and Brandon Horn, and Vanessa Booher. She also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her step-father, William Church; a daughter, Tiffany Booher; a son, Linn Booher, Jr.; and five brothers, Frank, Robert, David, Dennis, and Richard Vogan.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday (09-19-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls, New Castle.
Funeral service will be held immediately following, in the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Rupert, officiating.
