Charles W. 'Chuck' Frazier, Transfer, Pa., passed away peacefully at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his residence with his family at his side following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 59.
Chuck, as he was known by his family and friends, was born at home on July 6, 1952, in Sharpsville, Pa.
He graduated from West Middlesex High School in 1971.
Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he served for six years. He worked for Hughes Aircraft Company in both California and Arizona and served as a United States Air Force Reservist. He was called to duty as a Reservist and served during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom and reached the rank of Master Sergeant. As a decorated War Veteran he served in Spain and Kuwait and received several medals and citations including the Air Force Longevity Service Award, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He retired with twenty years of service as a Reservist in July 2008.
Along with his wife and family he belonged to the Central Community Church, Pymatuning Township.
Chuck worked for Verizon as a splicer technician for ten plus years. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, but his greatest joy was found while spending time with his family who will sadly miss him.
His wife the former Anna Gomez whom he married on April 11, 1981 survives at home.
He also leaves his two daughters, Dawn A. Spohn and her husband Eric E. Mishawaka, IN; and Cynthia C. Frazier, Transfer; one granddaughter, Nevaeh, and one step granddaughter Bella; two sisters, Therese "Susie" Smith and her husband Fred, West Middlesex; and Margaret Staller, Greenville; two brothers, Daniel Myers and his companion Kathy Zapka, Sharon; and John Frazier, Ohio. He also leaves two aunts, Peggy McDermott and her husband Forrest, Grove City; and Beverly Shaffer, Albany, NY; three nephews, Chris Myers, Sharon, and Brandon and Andrew Staller, Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joanne Frazier, and two aunts, Anna Mae Rodgers, and Lu Lu Mae Caution, and an uncle, William E. Caution.

Services: A Funeral service will be held on Saturday (8-6-11) at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phillip D. Beck, pastor of Central Community Church officiating.
Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors.
