Charles Edward Craggs, Jr., 705 Thornton St., Sharon, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon (2-12-11) at his residence. He was 68.

Mr. Craggs was born December 3, 1942 in New Eagle, PA a son of Charles Edward Craggs, Sr. and Helen Viola Edgar Craggs.

He was a 1960 graduate of Elizabeth (PA) Forward High School and attended the former Carnegie College, Cleveland, Ohio.

He served with the US Navy from 1965-1967.

Charlie retired as a Medical Technologist from UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell, where he was employed for 31 years in its laboratory.

Surviving are: a daughter, Bethany Anne Carr and her husband Christopher, Salem, Ohio; three granddaughters; two sisters, Shirley Barncord, Florida; and Charlotte Moon, Pennsylvania; and a brother, Richard Craggs, Georgia.

Besides his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Charles Craggs; and a sister, Helen Hatfield.
