Charles "Charlie" A. Hicklin II of Sharpsville passed away as a result of a heroin overdose the morning of Saturday, December 10, 2016 in his home. He was 33.

Charlie was born February 2, 1983, in Sharon, a son of Cecil Hicklin and Sonya Rabold Franks.

He was a lifelong resident of the Shanango Valley and attended Hickory High School.

He had a passion for working on cars and worked locally as a mechanic.

Charlie enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, watching Fast and Loud, and spending time with his children.

Charlie is survived by: his wife, the former Sherrie Custer, whom he married on June 8, 2013; his three daughters, Chelsey Custer, Angel Hicklin and Crystal Hicklin, all at home; his God son, Lawrence Russell, Girard, OH; his father, Cecil Hicklin, Hermitage; his mother, Sonya Franks and her husband Keith, Wisc.; his step mother, Tracy Shearer, Girard, OH; Paternal grandfather, Charles Hicklin, Hermitage; seven sisters, Ashley Campbell, Wheatland; Megan Franks, Wheatland; Samantha Russell, Girard, OH; Tara Russell, Girard, OH; Cierra Hagan, Girard, OH; Betsy Burns, Sharon; Autumn Hicklin, Wisc.; and Amanda Franks, Wisc.; two brothers, Bradley Hicklin and P.J. Russell, both of Girard, OH.

He was preceded by: his paternal grandmother, Dawn Hicklin; a sister, Nichol Hicklin; and a brother, Keith Franks Jr.

Services were held privately by the family.
