Catherine Louise McCullough, 74, of Hermitage passed away unexpectedly late Saturday evening, June 8, 2024, in her home.

Cathy was born August 16, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of Jim and Charlotte (Soost) McCullough. She was a graduate of Penn Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA, and completed the LPN program at Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) – Boyce Campus, Monroeville, PA.

Cathy loved her pets and had a talent for baking, especially cakes and cookies. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother, and cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by three children, Tim Irwin, Boardman, OH, Dawn Irwin, Hermitage, and Brian Irwin, Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers, Wayne McCullough, and Jim McCullough (Jill), all of Pittsburgh, PA; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her wishes, calling hours will be held privately and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
