Carrie Surles, 53, of Sharon, passed away on Friday evening, December 8, 2023, in UPMC Horizon-Shenango Valley Hospital, Farrell.

Ms. Surles was born on August 29, 1970, in Sharon, a daughter of James Surles and Linda (Fast) Bennardo.  She graduated from Sharon High School and attended Penn State University and Youngstown State University.

Carrie was a caregiver for individuals with special needs at The Alliance for Behavioral and Developmental Disabilities (ABDD), Hermitage.

She loved collecting Mickey Mouse items and was also an outstanding cook.

Carrie is survived by her father, James Surles, Sharon; her mother, Linda Bennardo, West Hickory, PA; two sisters, Jennifer Surles, Sharon, and Kristy Johnson and her husband, Dave, West Hickory, PA; four nieces, Courtney, Madison, Eden, and Taylor; two great-nieces, Hazel and Gwen; and a great-nephew, Rowan.

Carrie was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Ann Surles; and two uncles, Richard and Billy Surles.

Per Carrie's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.
