Obituary

Carolyn Jellette of Hermitage died on Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Carolyn was a daughter of Stephen E. and Arialda (Vanetti) Valetich.

She graduated from Sharon High School, was employed by GATX, and was instrumental in securing union representation for the office employees.

She was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Richard M. Jellette.

Her survivors include her twin brother Carl "Spike" (JoAnne) Valetich, Franklin, PA; brother George (Betty) Valetich, Hermitage, PA; and sister Stephanie (Richard Chesnik) Valetich, Moon Twp., PA; and her nieces Carla, Leslie and Nicole, their husbands and children.

Carolyn was a loving and supportive daughter, wife, sister and friend. She lit up the room with her style, charm and wit. Her physical elegance was exceeded only by her kindness and generosity.

She will be greatly missed.

Calling hour will be from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass on Monday, May 9, 2016 , in the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Rd., Hermitage, PA.


Mass of Christian burial will be 2 p.m. Monday in the church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Noble, pastor, as celebrant.

Entombment: St. Rose Cemetery Mausoleum, Hermitage.
