Carol A. (Novak) Raich Kerr, 74, of Sharon, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Kerr was born October 28, 1943, in Macon, GA, a daughter of Victor "Buck" and Ann (Regis) Novak. She was a 1961 graduate of Sharon High School.
Carol was employed by the Joy Cone Company, Hermitage, where she began on the assembly line and later worked in the office. She previously worked as a teller at First National Bank, Farrell.
She had a heart of gold and was a very giving person. Later in life, Carol moved in to her mother's home to be her caretaker. She also fostered cats and volunteered her time at the Animal Advocacy of Mercer and Crawford Counties. She enjoyed horseback riding and gardening.
Carol was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by three sisters, Geraldine Connolly, Wheatland; Robin Gollner and her husband Jim, Sharon; and Linda Shupienis and her husband Bill, Masury, OH; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert "Bobby" Novak and Victor "Bucky" Novak.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Animal Advocacy of Mercer and Crawford Counties, 321 Jefferson Avenue, Sharon.
