Carol S. Moore, 836 Christy Road, Hermitage passed away at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (10-13-11) in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was 68.

Carol was born August 21, 1943 in Westernport, Maryland a daughter of William and Alice Hood Price. She was a 1961 graduate of Piedmont (West Virginia) High School and received an associate of science degree from Potomac State College, Keyser, WV.

Carol retired in 2005 after 21 years of service from the U.S.D.A. World Development Office in Meadville, PA where she was employed as a loan technician.

She was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, and enjoyed crafts.

She is survived by two daughters, Ingrid A. Brash and her husband Dr. Douglas Brash, Hermitage; and Megan L Sweger and her husband Benjamin Sweger, Newville, PA; two sons, Dr. Michael C. Maine, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland; and Wesley S. Moore and his wife Gabrielle, Lancaster, New York; a sister, Lois Ann Price, Henderson, Nevada; and six grandsons, Christian, Holden and Sebastian Sweger; Ryan and Benjamin Brash; and Ethan Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services: Memorial mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday (10-15-11) in the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA, with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: Philos Cemetery, Westernport, Maryland.
