Carol Ann Mehler of 525 Dutch Lane, Hermitage, formerly of Hall Ave. Sharpsville, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 1:40 pm in her residence. She was 66.

Mrs. Mehler was born in Sharon, PA on November 3, 1943, a daughter of the late George and Thelma Doyle Mathewson.

She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School.

Carol retired after more than twenty years of service as an administrative assistant for Cattron Communications.

Mrs. Mehler cherished the time she spent with family and friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by, 4 children, Robert and his wife Nicole Mehler of Sharpsville, Debbie and her husband John Vannoy of Sharon, Scott and his wife Julie Mehler of Sharpsville, and Gary and his wife Rebecca Mehler of Louisville, OH; a sister, Evelyn 'Edge' and her husband Pete Morris of Sharon, a brother, Robert and his wife Jackie Mathewson of Littleton, CO; 7 grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Vannoy, Kayla Mehler, Lauren Mehler, George Mehler, Nina and Eric Mehler; 5 Special Nieces and Nephews, David and Becky Morris, Lisa Mehler, Brian and Kimberly Mathewson.

Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Calling Hours will be on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 4 to 8 pm in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.

A funeral service will be on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11:00 am. in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas J. Dugan, Associate Pastor of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon.

Interment will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
