Carol Ann David Carson of Clayton, NC; formerly of West Middlesex, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016.
She was 65.
Mrs. Carson was born May 20, 1951, in Sharon, a daughter of Joseph David, Jr. and Helen Ann (Olenik) David.
She was a 1969 graduate of Kennedy Christian High School, Hermitage, and earned her bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Slippery Rock State (PA) University.
She later attended St. Francis Medical Center School of Respiratory Care and was employed for ten years as a respiratory and pulmonary therapist at Duke University, Durham, NC, before retiring in 2015, due to heath issues.
Surviving are: a son, Scott Carson and his wife Amy, Windham, VT; a daughter, Melissa Marshburn and her husband Chris, Clayton, NC; a sister, Barbara A. Urban, Sharpsville; two brothers, Steven David and his wife Darlene, Yardley, PA; and James David and his wife Judith, Mercer; and four grandchildren, Megan, James, Annabelle and Tanner.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joseph David, III and Francis J. David.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Animal Appeal, P.O. Box 197, Sharpsville, PA 16150; or the American Cancer Society, 3208 Wilmington Rd., #B, New Castle, PA 16105.

1 p.m.
Monday, August 15, 2016, in St. Rose Cemetery chapel, Dutch Lane, Hermitage, with Msgr. Robert Malene, pastor of Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex, officiating.
Entombment: St. Rose Cemetery mausoleum, Hermitage.
