Obituary
Carol J. Cross of 325 Columbia St. Sharon, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1:42 a.m. in UPMC Horizon Medical Center. She was 67.
Mrs. Cross was born in Glen Hope, PA on September 6, 1943, a daughter of Eldon and Mabel McGarvey Young.
Carol was a graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.
She was employed for a few years at Wintronics Inc. where she assembled Circuit boards.
Carol was a member of St. Joseph's Church. She loved to travel all over. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by, her husband, Donald E. Cross, whom she married, August 22, 1964; a son, Donald Cross and his wife Amy McLoud of Sharon, PA; a brother, Gilbert Dillen of Englewood, FL; a grandson, Romie Cross of Sharon.
Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a brother Wilbert Dillen.
Calling hours will be on Monday, March 14, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Glenn R. Whitman.
Entombment will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
