.Carmone Montreal Parchman of Sharon passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7, 2019, in his home. He was 36.
Carmone was born April 17, 1982, in Sharon, a son of Carl Weindale and Cassandra (Johnson) Parchman. He was a 2001 graduate of Sharon High School where he was a standout football player and a member of the Tiger basketball and track teams. He later became an assistant football coach under Jim Wildman where he was a role model to many of the players.
A good provider and hard worker, Carmone was employed for 15 years as a counselor at George Junior Republic in Grove City and was currently working for NLMK Pennsylvania & Sharon Coating. Carmone loved coaching and mentoring youth and was a leader for all kids.
He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Carmone was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Farrell, where he sang in the choir. His family, whom he loved dearly, was his biggest priority.
Surviving are: his fiancé of 20 years, Jennifer Lee Schmidt; three children, Brionna Necole Parchman, Carmone Montreal "CJ" Parchman, Jr. and Gerrell Malloy, all of Sharon; his mother, Cassandra Johnson, also of Sharon; his father, Carl Parchman, of Clearwater, FL; a grandmother, Annie Hughes, of Farrell; a sister, Cominique Parchman and her fiancé Lamont Bryant, of Hermitage; and a nephew, Jermaine Cornelius. He also leaves his "brothers," Marlin Jackson, Kevin Harris, Brandon Brooks, Sir Jackson, Lyndell Odem, Terri Clay, Eric Pagan, Adonis Clinkscale and Mandy Gillespie; and a host of extended family and very close dear friends.
Carmone was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Franklin; great grandparents, Henry and Mamie Lewis; and two aunts, Shirley Booker and Patty Armstrong.
Carmone's infectious smile and helpful ways will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home.
Interment: America's Cemetery, Hermitage.
