C. Richard Goldsboro of Sharon passed away 7:14 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 in his home. He was 77.

Mr. Goldsboro was born May 7, 1940, in Uniontown, PA, a son of Arthur H. and Grace Marie Donaldson Goldsboro.

He was a 1958 graduate of Georges Township High School, York Run, PA.

Richard was a manager for 24 years at Kinney Shoes in the Shenango Valley Mall. After working at various local retail stores, he retired January 1, 1998.

He is survived by; his wife, Linda L. Schreckengost, whom he married July 11, 1960; and two daughters, Toni M. Goldsboro, Sharon and Robin L. Goldsboro, Naples, FL.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude E. and Kenneth A. Goldsboro.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to a Mercer County animal foundation of the donor's choice.

Funeral service will be private. Arrangements by J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon .

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
