Bruce A. Greenough of Sharon passed away unexpectedly of natural causes
Tuesday
morning in the emergency room of Sharon Regional Health System.
He was 53.
Bruce was born April 26, 1962, in Brownsville, PA, a son of Kenneth and Elnora Gill Greenough.
He was a 1980 graduate of Bethlehem Center High School, Fredericktown, PA.
Moving to the area in 2011, Bruce was a full time volunteer at the Salvation Army Corp. in Sharon where he participated in Emergency Disaster Services, Men's Fellowship, Senior Center, Social Service programs and helped in its thrift store.
He enjoyed bowling, corn hole, horse shoes, chess, checkers, listening to radio station WDVE and playing cards with the Euchre Club at the Hickory VFW in Hermitage.
Surviving are: a sister, Rebecca A. Greenough and her boyfriend, John Waller, and her children, Trey and Tylar; a brother, Robert A Greenough and his wife Terri and their children, Ian and Ellie; a special niece, Kailee;
and Misty Markovich and Shawn Greenough, who Bruce helped raise.
He also leaves Captain's Michael and Amanda Jung and his Salvation Army family; and Pastor Scott and Leslie Flanders.
Calling hour will be from
1 p.m.
until the time of service on
Saturday, January 9, 2016

Memorial service will be
2 p.m.
Saturday
in the Salvation Army, Sharon, with Captain Michael Jung officiating.
