April 24, 1959 – December 23, 2024
Brian Zoccole, 65, of Sharpsville, passed away Monday afternoon, December 23, 2024, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife, Karen and daughter, Larissa at his side.
Mr. Zoccole was born April 24, 1959, in Sharon, a son of Fred and Irene (Mudrinich) Zoccole, and was a 1977 graduate of Sharpsville High School.
Owner of Maincare Electric, Brian and his wife spent their most recent years designing, building and running the Stambaugh Farmhouse Event Center together. He had previously dedicated years of service to many companies in the area, including Sharon Steel, General Electric, and providing industrial maintenance on heavy equipment at Dean's Dairy.
Brian was an active member of Orangeville Baptist Church.
He was a talented musician and gifted mentor who wrote music for radio commercials that aired on many stations, including Rock 104, and Froggy 95 – most notably – the famous radio jingle for Funny Farm Comedy Club. Brian could pick up any instrument and play it and was known for making up songs on the spot. He also wrote notorious comedic songs for friends and family. With his ability to fix or build just about anything, Brian never hesitated to lend a hand to family, friends, or neighbors needing help. He loved sharing stories of his life and wisdom earned throughout the years.
His loving wife of 27 years, Karen L. (Broadbent) Zoccole, whom he married on December 20, 1997, survives at home.
Brian was a devoted father and Papa, survived by four daughters, Brittany Zoccole (Justin), of Golden, CO, Larissa Zoccole (Patrick), of Sharpsville, PA, Ashley Neustadtl, of Sharpsville, and Sasha Neustadtl, of Hermitage; a nephew who he saw as a son, Alex Broadbent; six grandchildren, Teddy and Bernardine Shaffer, Adeline and Miriam Garcia, and Lily and Conner Byler; a stepmother, Rita K. Zoccole; a brother, Kirk Zoccole; and two sisters, Colleen Dejulia (Vince) and Chrissy Zoccole.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Irene.
Calling hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday (12-28-24) at the First Baptist Church of Sharon, 301 W. State St., Sharon.
A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m., in the church, with Pastor Harley Williams, officiating.
