Brian Michael Paoletta of Moncks Corner, SC, formerly of Sharon, passed away due to injuries sustained after being struck by a motor vehicle Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Virtua Hospital, Marlton, NJ. He was 43.

Mr. Paoletta was born July 21, 1973, in Sharon, a son of Louis Paoletta Sr. and Janet (Mikulin) Fort. Brian was raised in the Shenango Valley and attended Sharon High School.

He was a member of Santee Circle Community Church, and the manager of Changing Lives Ministry, a drug and alcohol addiction recovery program in Moncks Corner.

Brian loved listening to music, playing the drums and harmonica, and going fishing, especially with his children, always cherishing the time he was able to spend with them. He enjoyed cooking and his job, particularly to the opportunities it gave him to help others.

Surviving are: his mother, of Sharon; his wife, Kristin Paoletta, a daughter, Carmandi Paoletta; and a son, Anthony Paoletta, all of Ladson, SC; two sisters, Gina Paoletta, Sharon; and Julie Kampsen, Colorado Springs, CO; three brothers, Paul Paoletta and his wife Tracy, Hermitage; Donald Paoletta and his wife Karin, Hilton Head, SC; and Vincent Paoletta and his wife Yong Hui, Yorktown, VA; and five nieces.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Louis Paoletta, Jr.

Calling hours are 11 am until the time of the service Saturday, March 18, 2017 , in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Memorial service will be at 2 pm Saturday in the funeral home.
