Brian R. McIntyre, 56, of Transfer passed away peacefully Friday evening, November 23, 2018, in his residence, following a courageous two year battle with cancer.

Brian was born August 22, 1962, in Sharon, a son of Robert K. and Joanne (Kirkland) McIntyre. A lifelong area resident, he graduated from Hickory High School in 1980 and attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Clarion, PA.

He was employed by Maplevale Farms, Inc., Falconer, NY, where he worked as a sales representative. He was previously employed in a similar capacity by Sysco Foods, Inc., Zelienople, PA.

Brian was of the Methodist faith.

He enjoyed being outdoors riding his four wheeler, boating and walking his dog, Cassie.

Surviving are: his mother, Joanne Goehring and her husband, Robert; and his father, Robert K. McIntyre, all of Hermitage; two sisters, Kimberly DeWitte and her husband, Greg, Coeurd'alene, ID, and Kerry McIntyre, Spokane, WA; four nieces, Alyse Golub; and Iris, Maris and Tess Hart; and a nephew, Dustin (Sarah) Golub.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, West Middlesex.
