Brandy Lynn Millin Davensizer of Sharon, PA passed away after an extended illness on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 8:20 a.m. in her residence with her family by her side. She was 29.
Ms. Davensizer was born in Sharon, PA on August 23, 1981, a daughter of James and Ella Millin Davensizer.
Brandy was a 1999 graduate of Sharon High School. While in high school, she attended the Vocational Technical School where she enrolled in classes for business marketing and technology. Following high school she went to Louisiana where she was involved with the Louisiana Center for the Blind. Brandy went on to receive her certification in culinary arts from the Winner Culinary Art Institute.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sharon, where she helped out in their food pantry and other activities through the church. Brandy was active in her fish club. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her nephew Brandon.
She is survived by, her mother, Ella Davensizer of Sharon; a brother, Brent M. and his wife Stephanie Davensizer of Hermitage, PA; maternal grandmother, Margaret Millin of Masury, OH; a brother-in-law, Christopher Kratochvil; a nephew, Brandon Kratochvil.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Jamie Kratochvil.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. John M. Trojak, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Sharon.
Internment will be in Westside Cemetery
