Bradley J. Thompson, 64, of Sharon passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday morning, September 25, 2024, at Sharon Regional Hospital.
Brad was born April 2, 1960, in Upper St. Clair Hospital – Mt. Lebanon Township, Pittsburgh, PA, a son of Wallace and JoAnn (Bradley) Thompson. After graduating from Sharon High School in 1978, he later graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in graphic design.
Brad was known for his intelligence and creativity, which shone through in both his personal and professional life.
He dedicated many years of his life to working for Sharon Commercial Printing, where his knowledge of the trade and passion for detail made a lasting impact.
An avid golfer and talented dart player, Brad was a member of various local social clubs and spent endless hours tinkering with his BMW 335i.
His greatest joy in life ultimately became fatherhood. Brad deeply valued the relationships that he built with his two children and took pride in their successes.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Marcia (Vernon) Thompson, whom he married June 8, 1985.
Brad is also survived by a daughter, Hallie Thompson (Tom Houpt), Pittsboro, NC; a son, Colin Thompson, Butler, PA; a sister, Wendy Thompson, Westport Island, ME; a brother, Scott Thompson (Donna), Riveria Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Brad's life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday October, 5, 2024, at the Son's of Italy, 299 Vine St., Sharon.
