Obituary
Boodram Seeram Dookhie (Chunkay), 72, of Sharon, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in his daughter's residence.
Mr. Dookhie was born August 9, 1946, in Lonsdale, Guyana, a son of the late Dookhie and Betty. He was employed for several years at the Regenex Corporation in West Middlesex. Boodram was a fan of country music and cricket. Above all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by four daughters, Geeta and her husband Hardat, Rita and her husband Patrick Saigo, Natasha and her husband Michael, and Seeta and her husband Eric; two sons, Robin and his wife Vanie, and Bunny and his wife Indera; twenty three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Darling, Radica and Vado; and two brothers, Wesley and the late Shuloo; one sister-in-law Beryl, and one brother-in-law
Calling hours are noon to 3 p.m. Sunday (01/27/2019) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday (01/28/2019) in the funeral home with Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of I.H.S. Gospel Ministries, officiating.
