Bonnie Jean Multari, 75, of Sharpsville, formerly of longtime resident of Sharon, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 4, 2018, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Multari was born November 17, 1942, in Grove City, a daughter of John and Margaret "Peggy" (Timko) Rzepka. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1960 alumna of Sharon High School.
Bonnie was employed by Shawnee Optical, Hermitage, where she worked as an optician assistant for 20 years, retiring in 2010. She was also employed by several local retail stores, where she worked as a sales associate in the men's clothing department.
Bonnie was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, and previously a member of St. Adalbert Church, both Farrell.
She enjoyed taking walks in Buhl Park, Hermitage, caring for her pet cats, Bailey and Heidi, and cooking for friends and family, especially her renowned stuffed cabbage. A loving mother and wife, Bonnie also helped in raising her grandson, Santino, whom she affectionately called, "Tino." She enjoyed attending his baseball and hockey games. Bonnie was an exceptionally caring person, and would regularly volunteer to help others, often by cleaning their homes.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Lawrence A. "Taddy" Multari, whom she married September 2, 1961, of Sharpsville; two sons, Mark L. (Michelle) Multari and Jon M. (Traci) Multari; a sister, Arlene Rzepka; and a grandson, Santino, M. Multari, all of Hermitage.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday (11-9-18) in St. Adalbert Church, 1035 Fruit Ave., Farrell, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, pastor, as celebrant.
