Beverly A. Schiller, 77, of Sharon, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, November 09, 2018, in her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Schiller was born September 6, 1941, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Jack and Mabel (Williams) Hoover. She was a 1960 graduate of Sharon High School. Throughout her 18 years of employment at Sharon Regional Medical Center, Beverly worked as a switch board operator, EKG technician and a phlebotomist. Later, she was employed for several years at Pat Catans, Hermitage.
Beverly was a talented tole painter and taught classes out of her home. She also loved quilting, sewing and making things out of stained glass. Beverly was very influential in her grandchildren and great grandchildren's lives and enjoyed watching all of them while her children worked.
Beverly was a member of Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage.
Her husband, Paul Schiller, Sr., whom she married November 26, 1960, passed away January 18, 2014.
She was a loving mother who will be missed by her children, Paul J. (Mary) Schiller, Jr., of Burghill, OH; Cara (David) Kloss; and Diana (Rick) Pander, all of South Pymatuning Twp. Beverly adored her grandchildren, Tara (Nolan) Shrader; Jessica Schiller; Tori Kloss; and Jennifer, Zachery and Taylor Pander; four great grandchildren, Brooke Patrick; Landon and Sawyer Shrader; and Caitlyn Harkelrode. She also leaves behind three sisters, Joanne Williamson, of Magnolia, TX; Jacqueline Hoover, of Hermitage; and Pamela Laird, of West Middlesex; a brother, John Hoover, of Clarion; several nieces and nephews; and a long time friend, Alice Williams.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan T. Schiller.
Calling hours will be 4 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday (11/13/2018) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home, with Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of I.H.S. Gospel Ministries, officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
