Beverly May Lineberger, 80, of Sharon, passed away following a brief illness on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in her home.

Mrs. Lineberger was born on June 17, 1945, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Olive G. (Cline) Hassel. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1963 graduate of Hickory High School.

She married her husband, Roger Lineberger, on February 22, 1964. He survives at home.

A dedicated homemaker, she cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a talented baker, known for her strawberry pretzel salad, no-bake cookies and jello eggs. Additionally, she looked forward to traveling and trips to the casino.

Besides her husband, Beverly leaves behind three sons, Robert Lee Lineberger (Sue), of New Wilmington, Thomas Allen Lineberger (Melanie), of Sharpsville, and Howard Kenneth Lineberger (Brittany), of Mercer; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Kenneth Donald Hassel, of Southington, OH; and a sister, Della Jean Arrow (George), of Mercer.

Beverly’s family would like to thank the staff of Steel City Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion.
