Beverly Jean D'Urso, 59, of Pymatuning Twp., passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018, following a courageous battle with breast cancer in Mercy Health-St. Joseph Warren Hospital, Warren, OH.

Beverly was born August 31, 1958, in Sharon, a daughter of Robert and Rose Marie (Thomas) Haines. She attended St. Joseph's Parochial Grade School and was a 1976 graduate of Sharon High School.

A homemaker, Beverly also worked at the former Fashion Bug as a retail manager in the Shenango Valley Mall, Hermitage.

Beverly was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon.

A Pittsburgh sports fan, she also enjoyed watching her children, nieces and nephews' sporting events. Beverly cherished family time, baking cookies, playing card games and working on puzzles. She volunteered her time helping the Reynolds School District PTO and working the concession stand for Reynolds Little league.

She is survived by her husband, John D'Urso, whom she married on August 9, 1986; a daughter, Natalina Rose D'Urso; a son, Jason Allen D'Urso, all at home; her mother, Rose Marie Haines, Sharon; two sisters, Gertrude Megyes, Castleton, NY; and Regina (Jack) Matzel, Howard, OH; and three brothers, Robert (Barbara) Haines, Arizona; Walter (Loretta) Haines, Sharpsville; and David (Kate) Haines, Hermitage.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Timothy Haines.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to: Sharon Regional Cancer Care Center, 2320 Highland Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or Kevin's Guest House, 782 Ellicott St., Buffalo, NY 14203.

Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday (07/30/2018) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday (07/31/2018) in St. Joseph's Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon , with Rev. Thomas Whitman, pastor as celebrant.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
