A devoted wife and loving mother, she never missed one of her husband’s games while coaching varsity basketball – keeping a detailed statistics of every game, including what she “thought” were bad calls made by the referees. Dina was also an exceptional cook and baker who enjoyed gardening in her younger years.

Her beloved husband of 69 years, Michael J. Covelli, whom she married on July 25, 1948, preceded her in death on June 26, 2017.

Dina is survived by two daughters, Dianne Scilla (Randy) and Joanne Preston (Bob), all of New Castle; a son, Michael Covelli (Liane), of Coconut Creek, FL; five grandchildren, Ryan Scilla (Katie), Angela Feltbauer (Bill), Bobby Preston (Tiffany), Kevin Preston (Gabby), and Kelly Grafton (Ryan); 10 great-grandchildren, and a dear niece she loved as a daughter, Michelee Curtze, of Edinboro, PA.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dina was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Covelli; and nine siblings.

The family would like to thank Dina’s dedicated caregivers, Leslie, Debbie, Cindy, Dina, Beth, Sophia, Judy, and Diane – who were truly a blessing in recent months; as well as the staff at Addison of Clen-Moore Place and Anova Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness.
